Anti-Drug Mime Performance at Rathinapuri School

As part of Republic Day celebrations, I had the opportunity to coordinate an Anti-Drug Mime at Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri. Since every government school has an Anti-Drug Club, Our PT Sir entrusted us with the responsibility of organizing this event. Five boys from 9A1 performed a short yet impactful mime featuring four sequential scenes that highlighted the dangers of drug abuse. The performance was well received by students and staff, creating awareness in an engaging way. Conducted under the EPD program, the event concluded with my explanation of each scene, reinforcing the message of drug prevention among youth.

Paper cutting and folding activity by 6th students.

The 6B students of Rathinapuri School enthusiastically participated in a paper cutting and folding activity on 07.01.2025, showcasing their creativity and imagination. Guided by their teachers, the students used colored paper and scissors to craft various shapes and designs, highlighting their artistic skills. The activity not only enhanced their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination but also introduced them to concepts like symmetry and geometry in a fun and engaging way. This hands-on experience fostered teamwork and boosted their confidence, making it a memorable and educational session.

Pongal celebration in CHSS

The Pongal celebration at CHSS, Rathinapuri, on 13/01/2025, was a vibrant and joyful event. All faculties and students attended in colorful traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. Pongal was prepared in traditional clay pots and distributed to everyone, symbolizing unity and gratitude. In the afternoon, traditional games like pot breaking and tug of war were conducted, bringing excitement and fun to participants. The event beautifully showcased Tamil culture and left everyone with cherished memories.

Annual Day Celebration at CHSS, Rathinapuri

The Annual Day competition at Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri on 03.01.2025, It was a grand and memorable event. The agenda included various activities aimed at showcasing and encouraging students' talents.  The event began with an inspiring speech competition, where students demonstrated their eloquence and confidence. This was followed by a gift distribution session to honor the winners of various competitions, including speech, drawing, and sports events.  The program also featured vibrant dance performances, presented both individually and in groups, which added color and energy to the celebration. The highlight of the day was the "Jammapu Drum" performance, which marked the grand finale of the event, leaving the audience enthralled. Sports Day Celebration at Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri.

Our school successfully conducted its Annual Sports Day on 2nd January 2025, creating a vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm and teamwork among the students. A large number of students actively participated in various games, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Football, showcasing their energy and passion for sports. These games served as a platform to enhance their physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development. Events like these play a pivotal role in nurturing students' holistic growth and encouraging their engagement in extracurricular activities.

NSS Camp at Rathinapuri School

On 26/12/2024 & 28/12/2024, NSS students from the Higher Secondary section actively participated in cleaning activities, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and contributing to the community. As teacher guides, we supported and supervised their efforts, and lunch was provided to the students as part of the initiative.

Children's day program

On Children's Day(14/11/2024), our Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri, introduced an innovative initiative by organizing students from grades 6 to 12 into five groups named Kurinji, Mullai, Marudham, Neidhal, and Paalai. Each group was assigned a unique flag color, along with designated teacher representatives and student members. Each team will be awarded reward points based on the regularity, achievements, attendance, and discipline of its student members. This system aims to encourage healthy competition and promote positive behavior among students. To foster creativity and healthy competition, English department conducted various events, including essay writing, poetry writing, and speech competitions, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and team spirit on this special occasion.
