Children's day program

On Children's Day(14/11/2024), our Corporation Higher Secondary School, Rathinapuri, introduced an innovative initiative by organizing students from grades 6 to 12 into five groups named Kurinji, Mullai, Marudham, Neidhal, and Paalai. Each group was assigned a unique flag color, along with designated teacher representatives and student members. Each team will be awarded reward points based on the regularity, achievements, attendance, and discipline of its student members. This system aims to encourage healthy competition and promote positive behavior among students. To foster creativity and healthy competition, English department conducted various events, including essay writing, poetry writing, and speech competitions, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and team spirit on this special occasion.

On 21 march 2024, our college hosted its first Teaching Learning Material (TLM) display. Our institution open the pathway in order to suceed in future TLM commission, they conduct TLM display specifically for 1st year student teachers. The event was organized to showcase the innovative teaching aids developed by students. I have participated with various teaching aids like matching board, charts, cut out, rotating board, dummy model & ohp sheet.  The TLM display featured a variety of educational tools designed to enhance the learning experience in various subjects. Students exhibited models, charts, and interactive materials that illustrated complex concepts in engaging and understandable ways. On 26/12/2024 & 28/12/2024, NSS students from the Higher Secondary section actively participated in cleaning activities, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and contributing to the community. As teacher guides, we supported and supervised their efforts, and lunch was provided to the students as part of the initiative.

Visit to Seniors' Final Commission

On 21/06/2024, our class had the opportunity to visit the seniors during their second-year final commission. This visit was organized by all department of the institution and aimed to give us insight into the assessment process and the level of preparation required.  We were welcomed by the seniors and their faculty advisors. We observed presentations, project demonstrations, gaining a deeper understanding of the academic rigor and dedication involved.The seniors showcased their projects, which covered a wide range of topics, demonstrating their knowledge, research skills, and innovative thinking. It was an inspiring experience, motivating us to start preparing early and put in our best efforts for our upcoming assessments. The visit concluded with an interactive session where we could ask questions and seek advice from the seniors.
