16th Batch Inaugural function of CMS College of education and Teacher's Day program


CMS College of education conducted the 16th academic batch of B.Ed. Program (Inaugural) and Teacher's Day program on 5th September 2023 in Mahatma Gandhi auditorium, CMS college at 10:00 am. Chief Guest (Dr. P. Kanagaraj, Tamil Nadu Govt. Collegiate Education Service, Professor & Head Dept of Political Science, Govt. Arts College, Coimbatore-18), Chairman (Sri. K. Vijaya Kumar), Vice chairman (Prof. T. Santha Menon), Secretary (Dr. O. B. Pramod Kumar), Join Secretary (Sri. M. K. Rajesh), Treasurer (Sri. R. Velayudhan) and Dr. M. Leonard Ashok Principal participated in the inaugural function. 

Kanagaraj Sir (Chief guest) and dignitaries share their heart felt experience about CMS College. Lunch was provided by the CMS Institution to all the participants like Student teachers and their Parents.

On 21 march 2024, our college hosted its first Teaching Learning Material (TLM) display. Our institution open the pathway in order to suceed in future TLM commission, they conduct TLM display specifically for 1st year student teachers. The event was organized to showcase the innovative teaching aids developed by students. I have participated with various teaching aids like matching board, charts, cut out, rotating board, dummy model & ohp sheet.  The TLM display featured a variety of educational tools designed to enhance the learning experience in various subjects. Students exhibited models, charts, and interactive materials that illustrated complex concepts in engaging and understandable ways. On 26/12/2024 & 28/12/2024, NSS students from the Higher Secondary section actively participated in cleaning activities, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and contributing to the community. As teacher guides, we supported and supervised their efforts, and lunch was provided to the students as part of the initiative.

Onam Celebration - 11th September 2024

Our college came alive with joy and festivity as we celebrated Onam on the 11th of September, 2024. The vibrant festival, arranged a beautiful display of the Pookalam (floral rangoli). Students and staff dressed in traditional attire added to the festive atmosphere, making the event even more special.The celebration featured various activities like Thiruvathirakali and traditional songs and dances that gave a glimpse into Kerala's rich cultural heritage. The spirit of unity and togetherness was evident as everyone came together for this festive.  It was a day of joy, laughter, and bonding, reminding us of the significance of Onam – a festival that promotes unity, equality, and the spirit of giving.
